About

Although Rode Racing was created only in 2020, its founder Roberts Rode has been in motorsport for 15 years. Initially competing in drift competitions, Rode later turned to circuit racing. Competing in the most powerful BGT and BGT AM classes of the Baltic Touring Car Championship, Rode was crowned Baltic champion in 2019.

In 2019 the BMW 325 Cup class was announced, which appealed to Rode and team manager Valdis Kikusts with its concept and technical regulations. The first BMW 325 Cup car was built in 2020, which got a win with Toms Bērziņš behind the wheel, while in Nankang Endurance Academy race Bērziņš and Rode were able to secure second place in the season standings.

In 2021 the good results continued as Krišjānis Oskerko got third place in BMW 325 Cup overall standings, while in the final round of Nankang Endurance Academy Rode and Messenger got a class victory. In 2022 Rode Racing expanded to five cars, taking its operation to a whole new level. The season as a whole can be marked as a success as Leo Messenger won round 2 in Finland and was as one of the fastest BMW 325 Cup drivers all year long. Oskerko delivered as well, winning BMW 325 Cup Rookie title and finishing P7 overall. The icing on the cake – Rode Racing were crowned BMW 325 Team champions.
